The Procircuit STINGER V4 complete wheel has been specially developed for use on modern, high-grip astroturf race tracks and is the ideal choice for riders looking for direct, precise steering response with reduced lateral grip – perfectly matched to the front axle or setups with balanced handling. The innovative V4 casing with reinforced sidewall and lower tire profile provides significantly more stability in fast corners, reduces lateral tilt and noticeably improves steering behavior. The combination of these characteristics delivers smooth, controlled cornering – even at high speeds and aggressive driving style. The special STINGER profile consists of long, loosely arranged center knobs for excellent propulsion and angled side blocks that specifically reduce lateral support. This gives the driver finer feedback on the steering wheel and allows him to position the vehicle more precisely – especially on tight passages and quick changes of direction on grippy surfaces.
The built-in "A2 Gold Dot Soft" compound belongs to the hard rubber category and is only available in this variant. It's been tested and optimized on artificial turf and similar high-grip surfaces, making it ideal for those looking for maximum consistency and control without sacrificing traction.
The complete wheel has an outer diameter of 120 mm and a width of 43 mm, which guarantees a balance between contact surface, damping and steering precision. The white competition rim with 17 mm hexagonal mount fits all common 1:8 buggy drive axles. The specially developed bonding process ensures an absolutely reliable connection between tire and rim – even during long races or extreme loads. Thanks to the pre-assembled delivery, manual gluing is completely eliminated. However, separate balancing is recommended from a technical point of view, as despite high-quality closed-cell tire inserts and precise rim production, minimal imbalances can occur that could affect the handling.
